Le Meraviglie del Possibile. Open call del Festival Internazionale di Teatro Arte e Nuove Tecnologie di Cagliari

Tra novembre e dicembre 2021 a Cagliari presso lo Spazio DOMOSC – Open Scena Concept, si terrà l’ottava edizione del Festival Internazionale di Teatro Arte e Nuove Tecnologie Le Meraviglie del Possibile.
Il Festival LMDP sostiene lo sviluppo e la sperimentazione di nuovi linguaggi creativi, teatrali e artistici attraverso le nuove tecnologie, con la programmazione di spettacoli, performance, installazioni, workshop, conferenze.
Kyber Teatro, spin-off de L’Aquilone di Viviana, ideatore e organizzatore del Festival LMDP, promuove l’incontro internazionale tra artisti, scienziati e ricercatori tecnologici e la contaminazione tra le arti, offrendo a tutti e tutte gli artisti e le artiste italiane e straniere, comprese le compagnie emergenti e/o under 35, la possibilità di partecipare al Festival, inviando il proprio progetto entro il 1° luglio 2021.
Destinatari della Call:
- compagnie, singoli artisti
- compagnie/artisti emergenti o/e under 35
- massimo 3 partecipanti per ogni progetto
Progetti ammessi:
- Spettacoli di teatro e nuove tecnologie
- Performance di arte e nuove tecnologie
- Installazioni che indagano e realizzano l’interattività tra opera, spazio e fruitori utilizzando le nuove tecnologie.
Processo di selezione:
Gli artisti interessati a partecipare al Festival devono inviare entro il 1 luglio 2021 alla mail info@kyberteatro.it il seguente materiale:
- curriculum vitae artisti/compagnia;
- dossier di presentazione in formato PDF
- scheda tecnica;
- una selezione di max 5 fotografie;
- link al materiale audio e video che deve essere reso disponibile su Vimeo o Youtube.
L’esito della valutazione sarà comunicato ai soli selezionati entro il mese di settembre 2021.
Condizioni economiche:
Ai vincitori dell’Open Call verrà garantita la copertura totale dei costi per la mobilità (viaggio per Cagliari, vitto e alloggio); copertura delle spese di agibilità e “gettone di presenza” per la presentazione della propria performance di n°2 repliche.
Se possibile e previo accordi con il responsabile tecnico, verrà coperto anche l’eventuale materiale richiesto per la presentazione della performance/spettacolo/installazione.
I vincitori, se interessati, potranno effettuare un eventuale workshop con ticket d’ingresso per il pubblico.
Pubblicazione e archiviazione
Gli artisti si impegnano a fornire una breve biografia e una sinossi del lavoro e accettano che il materiale possa essere pubblicato sul sito e sui social del Festival LMDP o ceduto alla stampa per finalità di promozione.
Si autorizza Kyber Teatro – L’Aquilone di Viviana ad archiviare il materiale e a renderlo accessibile tramite il sito web del Festival. Tutti i diritti sulle immagini del progetto resteranno all’artista. L’Organizzazione è altresì autorizzata a documentare tramite registrazioni audio video o immagini lo svolgimento della manifestazione in ogni sua fase.

The Wonders of Possible. Open call for artists 2021. International Festival of Art, Theatre and New Technologies
Between November and December 2021, Kyber Theatre organises in Cagliari (Italy) the 8th Edition of the International Theatre, Art and New Technologies Festival called The Wonders of Possible.
LMDP Festival is the first of this kind in the whole Italy. Its aim is to promote the interrelation between artistic and technological languages.
Kyber Teatro – spin off of L’ Aquilone di Viviana (theatre and new technologies company, LMDP Festival organizer), addresses to Italian and International artists, also emerging companies and/or under 35 artists, an Open Call to submit their projects about “Interaction between arts and technology”.
Who can attend
The participation is open to:
- Artists and Companies of every nationality
- Also emerging companies and under 35 artists
- to who works individually or in a group of maximum 3
Eligible projects
- Theatre and new technologies plays
- Art and new technologies performances
- Installations that explore and realize the interaction between artwork, exhibition space and observers with the contribution of technology.
Application
The theme of LMDP Festival is the interrelation between theatre, arts and new technologies.
The application must contain:
- Artist’s CV;
- Detailed description of the project (in PDF);
- Technical rider;
- Selection of max 5 photos;
- Link audio / video material (Vimeo or Youtube).

The result is going to be notified only to selected projects by the month of September 2021.
Economic conditions
The winners of the Open Call will have guaranteed the full coverage of the costs for mobility (travels to Cagliari, board and accommodation); coverage of agility costs and the “attendance fee” for the presentation of their performance for 2 evenings. If possible, we will cover also any material required for the presentation of the performance / show / installation (it will be subject to agreements with our technical director).
The winners, if interested, can present a technological artistic workshop with an entrance ticket for the audience.
Publication
Applying for the call, the artists must provide a short biography and an abstract of the project and they agree that the material related to the project could be published on the Festival website and/or presented to the press for promotional purposes.
Archiving process
Artists authorise Kyber Teatro – L’aquilone di Viviana to present their work, to store the material and make it accessible through the Festival’s website. All rights to the artwork and images will remain to the artist. The Organization is also entitled to document the event in all its phases through audio recordings, video or images.
