Il Sibenik Dance Festival ha indetto un bando per danzatori, compagnie di danza e case del teatro. Il festival è un evento estivo annuale che porta la bellezza della danza al maggior pubblico possibile e presenta il proprio programma nella magnifica fortezza medievale, recentemente restaurata, ubicata nella bella cittadina mediterranea di Sibenik, nella costa croata.
Il festival si svolgerà a Šibenik, in Croazia, dal 21 al 26 luglio 2020 nei seguenti luoghi:
- fortezza di St Michael’s con palco all’aperto (1100 posti, preferibilmente spettacoli della durata di 60 minuti (in questo spazio si presentano spettacoli di massima perfezione).
- palco all’aperto alla Fortezza Barone (200 – 300 posti)
- Teatro Nazionale Croato (350 posti)
- piazza della Repubblica (di fronte alla Cattedrale di San Giacomo).
Il Festival cerca performance di danza di vari stili basate sul linguaggio del movimento.
La durata del pezzo può essere compresa da un minimo di 20 minuti a un massimo di 60 minuti. La candidatura di pezzi brevi non sarà presa in considerazione.
Le performance devono essere adattabili per spazi all’aperto.

Le compagnie e gli artisti devono indicare nell’application form tutte le informazioni del lavoro proposto, i credit artistici, qualsiasi requisito tecnico e specificare eventuali copyright e di che tipo relativi all’autorialità della performance candidata.

Sibenik Dance Festival. Open Call
Sibenik Dance Festival is announcing Open call for dancers, dance companies and theatre houses. The festival is annual summer event which brings the beauty of dance art to the widest possible audience and presents its programme on beautiful medieval stages on recently renovated fortresses of the amazingly beautiful Mediterranean town Sibenik on the Croatian coast.
Where: Šibenik, Croatia
Our venues:
1. St Michael’s fortress open stage ( 1100 seats, preferable performance duration is 60 minutes. This venue presents performances of the utmost perfection.
2.Open stage at the Barone Fortress ( 200 -300 seats)
3. Croatian National Theatre building (350 seats).
4. Republic of Croatia open square ( in front of St James Cathedral)
When: July 21st – 26th 2020
Deadline for applications: December 31st, 2019
The Festival is searching for dance performances of various styles based on the language of movement.
• The performances’ duration: min 20 / max 60 minutes. Submissions of short dance pieces will not be evaluated.
• Performances must be adaptable for outdoor venues.

Companies and artists will need to indicate in the application form all the information of the submitted work, the artistic credits, any technical requirements and specify if any, what type of copyrights apply regarding the authorship of the performance.
