Il bando AREPO 21/22 indetto dalla Fondazione Egri per la Danza è un bando annuale che ha come finalità principale quella di ospitare, sostenere, diffondere e promuovere le nuove creazioni di coreografi over 35, favorendo la realizzazione di progetti coreografici innovativi e ispirati alla contemporaneità e supportandone la messa in scena.
Il Bando si propone di offrire una piattaforma creativa a quegli artisti che pur praticando la coreografia non hanno ancora avuto adeguata visibilità professionale o hanno praticato la danza soprattutto come interpreti e non hanno ancora avuto occasione sino ad oggi di affrontare un lavoro coreografico più articolato.
SCOPO DEL PROGETTO
Il progetto coinvolge coreografi italiani ed europei con lo scopo di creare i un’opera inedita che si ispiri al tema del bando del biennio 21/22 BODY and SOUL che può essere interpretato dagli artisti a seconda della loro estetica e poetica.
DURATA DELLA RESIDENZA E DELL’OPERA
La Fondazione Egri per la Danza offre un periodo di ospitalità di 20 giorni presso la propria sede di Torino ove i coreografi realizzeranno la coreografia con i danzatori della Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza. della durata massima fra i 25 e 40 minuti.
DESTINATARI DEL PROGETTO
Saranno ammessi alla selezione cittadini italiani ed europei over 35 con almeno uno dei seguenti requisisti:
- comprovata attività come danzatori professionisti in compagnie italiane o europee professionali dove abbiano già manifestato vocazione alla composizione coreografica ed esperienze nella coreografia
- abbiano svolto attività come coreografi a livello professionale in compagnie italiane o estere.
PARTECIPAZIONE
Per partecipare alla selezione occorre inviare la seguente documentazione:
- descrizione del progetto coreografico da realizzare
- fasi di sviluppo del lavoro con indicazione dei relativi tempi di realizzazione (20 giorni)
- documentazione video a supporto dell’attività performativa recente
- curriculum vitae
- lettera di motivazione.
La documentazione richiesta dovrà essere inviata a direzione.artistica@egridanza.com entro e non oltre il 31 agosto 2019
Tra tutti i progetti pervenuti, ne saranno selezionati al massimo 3.
La selezione sarà effettuata da un’apposita commissione, i vincitori del bando saranno contattati tramite posta elettronica dal 31 ottobre 2019 e verranno elencati sul sito istituzionale www.egridanza.com.
I candidati non presenti nell’elenco sul sito della Fondazione Egri dovranno ritenersi non selezionati senza ulteriore comunicazione.
Il materiale inviato non sarà restituito e potrà essere utilizzato per pubblicizzare il progetto stesso.
SVOLGIMENTO DEL PROGETTO
Ai progetti finalisti ritenuti idonei al termine della fase di selezione, sarà data la possibilità di essere sviluppati fornendo agli artisti uno spazio prove e un’assistenza tecnica di base all’interno della sede Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza.
Il periodo di ospitalità ha una durata di 20 giorni.
Il periodo di lavoro sarà programmato con la direzione artistica della Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza e sarà compreso fra gennaio dell’anno 2021 sino al settembre 2022.
Per i coreografi selezionati è previsto un contratto di assunzione con qualifica di coreografo e un compenso pari a 2.000€ euro netti.
Al termine del periodo di ospitalità, i progetti saranno presentati al pubblico all’interno della programmazione della Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza.
Tutti i costi relativi alla partecipazione del coreografo al percorso di formazione (spese di viaggio, vitto e alloggio) saranno totalmente a carico della Fondazione.
La creazione dei costumi, delle scene, dell’allestimento e della produzione del lavoro saranno totalmente a carico della Fondazione.
I costi di promozione e comunicazione saranno totalmente a carico della Fondazione.
L’opera entrerà a far parte del repertorio della compagnia EgriBiancoDanza e vi rimarrà in esclusiva per 5 anni.
Promozione e visibilità
A beneficio e supporto dei progetti finalisti verranno attivate una serie di azioni specifiche volte alla promozione delle nuove coreografie e degli artisti in esse impegnati:
- realizzazione di materiale informativo specifico sia cartaceo che informatico
- comunicazione tramite social network
- divulgazione attraverso l’ufficio stampa della Fondazione
- inserimento dei progetti finalisti all’interno del sito ufficiale www.egridanza.com corredati di scheda spettacolo e presentazione degli autori.

The AREPO 21/22 call issued by Fondazione Egri per la Danza is an annual call with the main purpose to host, support, disseminate and promote the new creations for choreographers OVER 35, to support and help the creation of innovative and contemporary inspired choreographic projects and supporting the on stage creation.
The call aims to offer a creative platform to those artists that practice choreography but they have not had yet the chance for the right visibility or they have practiced dance especially as performers without getting until today the right chance for a more articulated choreographic work.
PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
The project involves Italian and European choreographers with the aim of creating a new work inspired by the theme of the call for tenders for the two-year period 2021/2022. BODY and SOULis the theme which can be interpreted by the artists according to their personal aesthetics and poetics.
DURATION OF THE RESIDENCE AND THE OPERA
Fondazione Egri per la Danza offers a 20-days hospitality period at its Turin headquarters where choreographers will create a piece with Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza dancers for a duration between 25 and 40 minutes.
RECIPIENTS OF THE PROJECT
Italian and European citizens over 35 will be admitted to the selection if they can prove to have one of the following requirements:
- they can prove an activity as professional dancers in Italian or European professional companies where they have already shown a vocation for choreographic composition and experiences in choreography
- they have carried out activities as choreographers at a professional level in Italian or foreign companies
PARTICIPATION
To participate at the selection, you are requested to send the following documentation:
- description of the choreographic project to be realized
- work development phases with time indication times (20 days)
- video documentation to support recent performance activity
- curriculum vitae
- motivation letter
The requested documentation must be sent to the following e mail address: direzione.artistica@egridanza.com no later than 31 august 2019.
A maximum of 3 projects will be selected within all the submitted projects for the period 2021/2022
The selection will be made by a special commission, the winners will be contacted by e-mail within 31 october 2019 and will be listed on the institutional website www.egridanza.com
Candidates not listed on the website of Fondazione Egri must be considered unselected without further writing notice.
The material sent will not be returned and can be used to advertise the project itself.
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
The selected projects will get the chance to be developed by providing artists with dedicated space and basic technical assistance within the headquarters of Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza.
The period of hospitality has a duration of 20 days.
The period of work will be scheduled with the artistic direction of Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza and will be included between January 2021 and September 2022.
For the choreographers selected a recruitment contract will be provided with a fee of € 2,000 net.
At the end of the hospitality period, the projects will be presented to the public within one of the performances of Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza.
All costs related to the choreographer’s participation (travel, board and lodging expenses) will be fully in charge of Fondazione Egri.
The creation of costumes, scenes, staging and production of the work will be fully in charge of Fondazione Egri.
Promotion and communication costs will be fully in charge of Fondazione Egri.
The work will become part of the repertoire of the Compagnia EgriBiancoDanza and will remain it exclusively for 5 years.
Promotion and visibility
For the benefit and support of the selected projects a series of specific actions will be activated to the purpose of promoting the new choreographies and the artists involved in them:
- specific information material both paper and web
- communication via social networks
- diffusion throughout Fondazione Egri press office
- insertion of selected projects in the official website www.egridanza.com completed with show file and presentation of the authors.
