Audizione a Londra per danzatrici per nuova produzione del Sadler’s Wells con le coreografie di Akram Khan

Il Sadler’s Wells ha indetto un’audizione per una nuova produzione con le coreografie di Akram Khan.
Date dell’audizione:
sabato 28 e domenica 29 settembre 2019, dalle 10.00 alle 18.00 a Londra.
(Il luogo esatto verrà comunicato ai candidati invitati all’audizione)
Scadenza per la presentazione delle candidature: ore 10.00 di lunedì 1 luglio 2019.
Candidature arrivate in ritardo non verranno prese in considerazione.
Si cercano:
- danzatrici professioniste di prima classe (altissimo livello);
- danzatrici primariamente di danza contemporanea con forte tecnica anche classica (ulteriori tecniche tipo ‘commercial’ e/o hip hop è un plus);
- voce forte: le danzatrici non devono cantare ma devono essere a proprio agio nell’uso della voce poiché è parte della coreografia;
- età: 18-35 anni (al momento dell’audizione);
Il Sadler’s Well è impegnato a costruire una forza lavoro culturalmente diversa e pertanto incoraggiano caldamente le candidature di ogni background.
Date dell’ingaggio:
Ad alcune danzatrici verrà richiesto di iniziare le prove da lunedì 2 marzo 2020; dal 13 aprile 2020, si aggiungerà la restante compagnia, con la prospettiva di concludersi il 4 ottobre 2020. Trattasi di un periodo di 6 settimane di prove a Londra al Sadler’s Wells Theatre seguito da una tournée internazionale.
Si prega di notare che si tratta di una prima tranche e le specifiche date della tournée all’interno del periodo indicato sono soggette a cambiamenti.
Tutte le candidate devono essere esclusivamente disponibili per questo periodo.

- un link video in cui danzate visibile su YouTube, Vimeo o Dailymotion. Il video non può eccedere i 3 minuti e deve essere di buona qualità. Assicuratevi che esso includa footage di performance e anche di prove in sala. Dovete essere completamente visibili.
Informazioni pratiche:
- Bisogna essere disponibili per entrambi i giorni di audizione.
- Il primo turno di audizione si terrà il 28 settembre con call-back il giorno 29 settembre 2019.
- Non bisogna preparare niente per l’audizione.
- NB: senza un video in cui vi si veda bene e possiate essere identificati la candidatura non verrà presa in considerazione.
- L’audizione è strettamente su invito.
- Non sarà rimborsato alcun costo sostenuto per partecipare all’audizione.
- Dal giorno 5 agosto 2019 inizieranno a rispondere a tutte le candidature, sia ai selezionati che ai non selezionati.

Audition date:
Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September 2019, 10am to 6pm, in London.
(Exact location to be issued to those invited for an audition)
Deadline for application is 10:00 (BST) on Monday 1 July 2019.
Unfortunately, late applications cannot be considered.
What we are looking for:
- World-class, female professional dancers;
- primarily contemporary dancers with strong contemporary and classical technique (additional commercial and/or hip hop a bonus);
- strong voice: dancers will not need to sing, but should be confident using voice as part of the piece;
- age: 18-35 at the time of audition;
We are committed to building a culturally diverse workforce and actively encourage applicants from all backgrounds.
Dates of engagement:
Some dancers will be required for rehearsals from Monday 2 March 2020, to be joined by the remaining company of dancers from Monday 13 April 2020, with the outlook to end on Sunday 4 October 2020. This is inclusive of a 6-week rehearsal period, a London run at Sadler’s Wells Theatre followed by an International tour to four other venues.
Please note that at this early stage, specific touring dates within the period above and the end date are subject to change.

- Video of you dancing submitted in the form of a YouTube, Vimeo or Dailymotion link. The video must not exceed 3 minutes and must be good quality. Please make sure it includes performance footage as well as rehearsal/studio footage. You must be clearly and completely visible.
Practical information:
- You must be available for both audition days.
- First-round auditions will happen on Saturday 28 September with call-backs on Sunday 29 September;
- you do not need to prepare anything for the audition;
- please note: without a video link where you can be clearly identified we cannot progress your application;
- strictly no admission on the day, the audition is invitation only;
- regrettably there will be no contributions made towards any travel or visas required for the audition;
- we will respond to successful and unsuccessful applications week commencing Monday 5 August 2019
