Rhiannon Faith cerca 6 performer di teatrodanza per il nuovo lavoro Drowntown. Rhiannon Faith è un’artista socialmente consapevole il cui lavoro è agente per il discorso e il cambiamento; la coreografa crea spettacoli autobiografici coraggiosi. E’ interessata a come l’arte cambi la vita.
Nel processo creativo di Rhiannon Faith vengono disegnate delle storie autobiografiche traendo spunto dalle comunità e dagli artisti con cui lavora. Il risultato è un lavoro che usa la danza per portare il pubblico in un viaggio guidato dalla narrazione, che è allo stesso tempo stimolante ed accessibile. Il recente lavoro di Rhiannon Faith, Smack that, è stato in tournée nel Regno Unito e ha riscosso consenso da parte della critica e del pubblico (tra cui una settimana di sold-out al Barbican e 4 recensioni sul Guardian e sul The Stage).
Requisiti richiesti:
– forte tecnica contemporanea
– lavorare sapendo rispondere ai task oltre ad avere forte creatività e capacità di improvvisazione
– avere esperienza nel lavoro con un testo dal vivo
– avere piacere a lavorare sulla propria autobiografia
– avere esperienza e/o conoscenza di dipendenza e recupero.
– interesse verso l’attivismo ed essere altruisti
Sono incoraggiate candidature da artisti di tutte le età che riflettono un diverso mondo moderno.

Rhiannon Faith (UK)
Rhiannon Faith is looking for 6 dance theatre performers for new work, DROWNTOWN. Rhiannon Faith is a socially conscious artist whose work is an agent for discourse and change; she makes form-defying autobiographical shows that have guts, and that take guts. She is interested in how art changes lives.
Rhiannon Faith’s creative process draws autobiographical stories from the communities and artists she works with. The result is work which uses dance theatre to take the audience on a narrative led journey, which is both challenging and accessible. Rhiannon Faith’s current work, Smack That (a conversation), has been touring the UK to critical acclaim; including a sell-out week run at the Barbican and 4* reviews in The Guardian and The Stage.
REQUIREMENTS
– Strong contemporary dance technique and style
– A creative who works well in response to tasks and has strong devising and improvisation skills
– Experience working with live text
– Happy working autobiographically
– Experience and/or knowledge of addiction and recovery.
– An interest in activism and altruism
