E’ on line il bando 2019 per partecipare alla quarta edizione del Festival Internazionale di Danza Contemporanea di Città del Messico FIDCDMX. Sono invitati a partecipare al bando coreografi, compagnie e gruppi indipendenti o emergenti.
Il Festival si svolgerà a Mexico City, in Messico dall’1 all’11 agosto 2019.
Scadenza per la presentazione delle candidature: 18 novembre 2018
Per inoltrare la candidatura mandare i seguenti informazioni a fidcdmx@gmail.com:
- link video del pezzo che viene candidato (in casi speciali sono accettati anche i works in progress) – video caricati solo su Vimeo o YouTube. Assicuratevi che il link sia attivo e si prega di fornire la password in caso di modalità privata
- allegare da 5 a 10 foto del pezzo
- allegare breve curriculum vitae del coreografo o della compagnia
- Allegare un documento (massimo 1 pagina) con la descrizione del pezzo
- la e-mail di candidatura deve includere: nome della coreografia, nome dei candidati, numero di telefono e mail di contatto
Specifiche
- sono forniti vitto e alloggio fino a 5 giorni.
- Il FIDCDMX ha limitate risorse finanziarie ma in caso di selezione vi supporteremo per stabilire un contatto con le vostre istituzioni locali ed ambasciate per avere la copertura delle spese di viaggio.
- La scadenza per le candidature è il 18 novembre 2018.
- Le compagnie e i gruppi scelti verranno contattati entro il 23 novembre 2018. In caso si abbia la necessità di saper al più preso l’esito (per poter reperire i fondi) si prega di avvisare in anticipo.
- Gli autori dovranno adattarsi alle condizioni tecniche che i luoghi possono offrire. Tuttavia lo staff del Festival farà del suo meglio per esaudire le richieste dei lavori programmati. Il Festival si svolgerà dal 1 agosto all’11 agosto 2019 nelle sedi più importanti per le arti dello spettacolo in città e in altri luoghi pubblici e alternativi.
In sole tre edizioni il Festival ha portato più di 80 compagnie provenienti da 40 paesi diversi e ha avuto un’affluenza di quasi 30.000 persone. È un evento senza precedenti, l’unico nel suo genere a Città del Messico.

CALL 2019 International Contemporary Dance Festival of Mexico City. FIDCDMX, 2019. Fourth edition. Choreographers, dance companies and independent or emergent dance troupes are invited to participate in our open call.

When: August the 1st to August the 11th 2019
Deadline for applications: November 18th, 2018
To submit your applications, please send the following information to fidcdmx@gmail.com:
- Attach a full video of the dance piece you are applying with (In special cases, works in progress will be accepted). *Just Vimeo or YouTube links are accepted. Please make sure that the link is available and that you provide us with a password in case it is private
- Attach 5 to 10 pictures of the piece
- Attach a brief CV of the choreographer, dance company or dance troupe
- Attach a document (one-page max) with a description of the piece
- In the body of the e-mail include: Name of the dance piece; Name of the applicant, mobile number and e-mail of contact
Specifications
- Accommodation and meals for up to 5 days will be provided.
- The FIDCDMX has limited financial resources. In case of being selected, we will encourage and support you to establish contact with your local cultural institutions and embassies to cover the transportation costs.
- The deadline for application is November 18th, 2018.
- The companies and troupes chosen will be notified if selected or not by November the 23rd 2018. In case you need notification sooner due to fundraising, please let us know in advance.
- The authors will have to adapt to the technical conditions that the venues can offer. However, the Festival staff will do its best to provide with the technical specifications of the programmed pieces. The Festival will be held from August the 1st to August the 11th, 2019, at the most important venues for performing arts in the city and other public and alternative venues.
Within only three editions, the Festival has brought more than 80 companies from 40 different countries and has had direct access to almost 30,000 people. It is an unprecedented event, the only of its kind in Mexico City.
