James Finnemore sta cercando danzatori uomini per prendere parte a un periodo di 2 settimane di ricerca, parte di Choreodrome 2018.
L’audizione si terrà a Londra, presso The Place, 16 Flaxman Terrace, il 24 luglio dalle 10:00 alle 18:00.
James Finnemore è estremamente contento di poter incontrare ballerini con un background BAME. Se avete tale background e non potete partecipare all’audizione per motivi finanziari il coreografo vi invita a mandare una e-mail per verificare se vi può aiutare.
Date della residenza:
- dal 28 agosto al 1 settembre 2018 al The Place, Londra
- dal 3 al 7 settembre 2018 al The Place, Londra
- Ci sarà uno sharing pubblico, che è parte di Touchwood, il 5 settembre 2018.
I candidati dovrebbero aver terminato la formazione professionale. I danzatori provenienti da fuori Londra o stranieri sono incoraggiati a candidarsi tuttavia viaggio e alloggio non verranno forniti.
La retribuzione è soggetta alla domanda di finanziamento ma dovrebbe essere in linea con gli standard delle ‘equity minimum rates’.
Una ripresa video verrà effettuata durante l’audizione per uso personale del coreografo e nessun footage sarà reso pubblico.

James Finnemore Audition
James Finnemore (UK) is seeking male dancers to take part in a two week research period as part of Choreodrome 2018.
Where: The Place, 16 Flaxman Terrace, London, WC1H 9AT, UK
When: Tuesday 24th July 2018, 10 – 6 pm
Deadline for applications: 5 pm, Monday 23rd July 2018
James Finnemore is extremely keen to meet dancers from BAME backgrounds. If you are from a BAME background and unable to attend for financial reasons, please e-mail to discuss how we can help.
Residency dates
- 28th August – 1st September at The Place, London.
- 3rd September – 7th September at The Place, London.
- There will be a public sharing as part of Touchwood on the 5th September.
Applicants would have completed professional training. Dancers from outside London or the UK are welcome to attend, however, travel and accommodation will not be covered for the project should you be successful.
Fee is subject to funding, would be in line with equity minimum rates.
Filming will take place during the audition for the choreographer’s own use and no footage will be made public.
