La HeatherWalrondCompany (UK) sta cercando danzatori e danzatrici professionisti per la tournée della produzione The Rising e per la nuova creazione nel 2019.

The Rising è una produzione di danza contemporanea e musica che esplora cosa fa sentire vive le persone attraverso tematiche di comunità quali la relazione, la speranza e l’arrendersi. Il lavoro è fortemente influenzato dalla danza e dalla cultura delle Fiji con musica dal vivo dei musicisti pluripremiati Will McNicol & Luke Selby.

Negli ultimi 3 anni The Rising ha girato in Regno Unito e in Africa e ha ricevuto standing ovation da parte del pubblico che registrava il tutto esaurito .

HeatherWalrondCompany cerca danzatori e danzatrici che siano appassionati e con un grande interesse nel connettere diverse culture e comunità mediante la danza e la musica.

I candidati selezionati devono dimostrare impegno e interesse per il lavoro della HeatherWalrondCompany.

Si cercano danzatori e danzatrici con queste specificità:

• con formazione professionale completata oppure che si siano diplomati nel 2018.
• che dimostrino consapevolezza della comunità, della relazione e nutrano speranza nelle loro vite.
• che abbiano grande interesse verso i viaggi internazionali e nelle opportunità date dai mix culturali.
• che siano capaci di imparare e memorizzare rapidamente il materiale e mantenerlo ad un alto livello qualitativo
• che abbiano eccellente musicalità e resistenza fisica
• con tecnica di danza contemporanea, di floor-work e capacità nel contact.
• con attitudine positiva e forte etica del lavoro.

L’audizione si terrà a Plymouth, nel Regno Unito, il 26 e 27 luglio 2018 dalle 10:00 alle 16:00.

Scadenza delle candidature: 13 luglio 2018 a mezzanotte (orario inglese)

• dal 16 al 28 luglio Fiji

Autunno 2019:

• nuova creazione per 4 settimane (dipendente dai finanziamenti) UK

Nota bene: la HWC non può farsi carico dei Visa e pertanto bisogna avere il permesso di lavorare nel Regno Unito.

Salario:

£ 480 alla settimana – £ 120 a spettacolo e tutte le spese di viaggio e alloggio incluse. Il cachet è soggetto ad aumento dopo marzo 2019 in linea con le ITC/ Equity Minimum. Si prega di notare che la compagnia non può coprire le spese sostenute per prendere parte all’audizione.

HeatherWalrondCompany Audition

HeatherWalrondCompany (UK) is seeking male and female professional dancers for it’s touring production The Rising, and a new creation in 2019.

The Rising is a contemporary dance and music production that explores what makes people feel alive through themes of community, surrender, relationship and hope. The work is strongly influenced by Fijian dance and culture with live music from multi- award winning musicians, Will McNicol & Luke Selby.

Over the last three years The Rising has toured in the UK and Africa and has received standing ovations from sold out audiences.

HeatherWalrondCompany is looking for dancers who are passionate about people and want to make a positive difference, with a strong interest to connect with different cultures and communities through dance and music.

Selected candidates must demonstrate commitment and interest for the work of HeatherWalrondCompany.

We are looking for dancers with these qualities:

• Completed (or be due to graduate in 2018) full time professional dance training.
• Demonstrate an awareness of community, relationship and hope in their lives.
• Strong interests in international travel and cross- cultural opportunities.
• Able to swiftly learn and retain material to a high standard.
• Excellent musicality, strength and stamina.
• Exceptional contemporary dance technique, floor work and contact skills.
• Positive attitude, desire to develop and a strong work ethic.

When: 26^thand 27^thJuly 2018, 10am- 4pm.

Please note: HWC are unable to sponsor work visas and you must have the legal right to work in the UK

Rate of pay:

£480 weekly fee/ £120 performance day plus all travel and accommodation expenses included.Fees are subject to increase after March 2019 in line with ITC/ Equity Minimum. Please note we cannot cover costs to attend the audition.
