La wee dance company del Gerhart-Hauptmann Görlitz-Zittau, il Teatro della città di Görlitz, in Germania cerca danzatori uomini per la stagione 2018/2019 (che inizia il 23 agosto 2018).
L’audizione si terrà il 17 e 18 giugno 2018 a Görlitz presso il GHT Görlitz-Zittau, Demianiplatz 2.
La compagnia cerca danzatori contemporanei con forte tecnica e capacità di improvvisazione per l’imminente stagione.

Si prega di leggere le seguenti indicazioni relative al lavoro della compagnia per assicurarsi che sareste soddisfatti nel lavorare con la wee dance company :
- Il GHT è un piccolo teatro comunale con un piccolo budget. Il salario parte dai 2000 € mensili pre-tax (lordi).
- Alla mattina non si tengono le lezioni di danza classica bensì una sessione quotidiana di ricerca contemporanea: integrarsi alla compagnia significa impegnare se stessi in questo. Se la classe di balletto per voi è importante questo non è il luogo adatto.
- Lo strumento centrale è la coreografia. Qualche volta si usano anche altri mezzi (ad esempio l’improvvisazione, il testo), ma è importante che vi piaccia lavorare principalmente con la danza coreografata.
- Dovreste avere la capacità di assegnare i movimenti a precisi conti musicali, e non solo a contare intuitivamente. Il “feeling” con la musica non è sufficiente.
- Ai danzatori si chiede anche la capacità di imparare il materiale coreografico dato. E’ importante che sentiate l’apprendimento del materiale altrui come un arricchimento e che vi dia piacere.
- Lavorare in compagnia talvolta significa avere stress: tanto lavoro va portato a termine in poco tempo. Se lo stress vi opprime lavorare con la wee dance company non fa per voi. E’ importante che vi approcciate allo stress positivamente come elemento di arricchimento.
- Oltre alle coreografie si è obbligati a partecipare ad alcune opere, musical e produzioni teatrali. La compagnia considera questo lavoro importante tanto quanto le produzioni di danza.

Please read the following about our work to ensure you truly believe you could be satisfied working with us:
- The GHT is a small town theatre with small budgets. Salary begins at 2000.–€ per month pre-tax.
- We don’t conduct ballet training in the morning, but a daily contemporary research session: joining the company means committing yourself to this. If ballet class is important to you, you’d be unhappy with us.
- Our central artistic medium is choreographed dance. We sometimes use other tools too (i.e. improv, text), but it’s important that you can enjoy working mainly with a choreographed dance.
- You would need to enjoy the skill of consciously assigning movements to precise musical counts, at times counter intuitively. Relying on merely “feeling” the music does not suffice.
- In addition to input from our dancers, we require the ability to learn given choreographic material. It’s important that you approach learning material created by others as enriching & enjoyable.
- Work here sometimes means stress: a lot must be accomplished in little time. If stress makes you unhappy, working here will make you unhappy. It’s important that you approach stress with a positive attitude as an exciting, enriching element.
- In addition to dance pieces, we are obligated to participate in some of the opera, musical & theatre productions. We consider this work as important as dance productions.
