Open FLR a Firenze. Opern call per giovani coreografi

Dopo le passate edizioni OpenFLR 2018 (dal 2 al 17 luglio 2018) cerca un coreografo emergente che vada a Firenze per creare un nuovo pezzo a fianco a rinomati coreografi internazionali.
Chi verrà selezionato dovrà tenere due mezze giornate di workshop-audizione per i partecipanti di OpenFLR 2018 al fine di scegliere un gruppo con cui ideare la nuova creazione lavorando intensivamente per due settimane. OpenFLR culminerà nella presentazione finale che si terrà in teatro a Firenze aperta al pubblico.
Inoltre quest’anno OpenFLR entra in collaborazione col Festival Danzad Malditos (Pamplona) e offre la possibilità di approfondire il processo creativo del nuovo pezzo. A chi viene selezionato, dopo aver mostrato il lavoro a Firenze, gli verrà offerta una residenza all’Auditorium Baranain (1/12 agosto 2018) per continuare a sviluppare il pezzo con un nuovo gruppo di artisti locali. Dal 6 al 9 agosto 2018 si terrà un workshop aperto (di max 2 ore al giorno). La residenza culminerà quindi in una presentazione finale del lavoro (11 o 12 agosto 2018), che si svolgerà durante il festival.

YOUNG CHOREOGRAPHERS – Open FLR wants you in FLORENCE!
After the successful past editions, OpenFLR 2018 (2nd/17th July 2018) is looking for one emerging choreographer to come to Florence and create a new piece, alongside internationally acclaimed choreographers.
If selected, you will deliver two half-day workshops/auditions to the participants of OpenFLR 2018. You will then select a group of them and have the opportunity of devising a new creation, working intensively with your group of professional dancers and recent graduates for two weeks. OpenFLR will then culminate in a final presentation, held in a theatre in Florence and open to the public.
Moreover, this year OpenFLR in collaboration with the Festival Danzad Danzad Malditos (Pamplona), are offering you the possibility to delve deeper in the process of the new piece. If selected, once you have shown your piece in Florence, you will be offered a residency in the Baranain Auditorium (1st/ 12th August 2018) to keep developing the piece with a new set of local performers. From 6th till 9th August 2018 you will hold an open workshop (maximum 2hrs per day). Your residency will then culminate in a final presentation of the work (11th or 12th August 2018), which will take place during the festival.
