Schweigman& cerca danzatrici con esperienza per riprendere il lavoro in site-specific Wiek. Il periodo di prove è aprile e maggio 2018 con date di spettacolo in Olanda fino a settembre 2018 incluso.
Schweigman& è una compagnia di teatro con sede a Utrecht, in Olanda, diretta da Boukje Schweigman.
Le performance di Schweigman& immergono lo spettatore in uno spazio visivo, poetico e sensoriale, giocando con le convenzioni drammatiche e i codici teatrali. Negli ultimi 15 anni la compagnia ha prodotto spettacoli teatrali unici ed interdisciplinari, molto apprezzati da stampa e pubblico.
Il punto di partenza delle performance è il corpo nello spazio, con un focus sulla presenza fisica condivisa tra performers e pubblico in connessione sensitiva. Nella complessa coreografia di Wiek le tre danzatrici si confrontano con gli elementi; la sabbia sotto i loro piedi, le condizioni atmosferiche e le lame rotanti orizzontali di un motore.
Schweigman& cerca danzatrici con esperienza e grande tecnica, qualità sottile, virtuosismo e resistenza fisica.
Le candidate dovrebbero aver completato la formazione professionale, preferibilmente nel modern/contemporary, e avere affinità col lavoro di Schweigman& che miscela i generi e le tecniche di danza col mimo e il teatro fisico.
Per questo lavoro le danzatrici necessitano di essere molto abili nei salti quanto nel floorwork ed essere avvezze a lavorare su una complessa coreografia già esistente. La performance è danzata a piedi nudi nella sabbia, all’interno di una speciale arena disegnata in ‘open air’.

L’audizione si svolgerà a Utrecht, Paesi Bassi. Il primo round è l’8 novembre 2017, il secondo round l’11 novembre 2017.

Schweigman&: audition for restaging of Wiek a site-specific dance performance
Schweigman& is looking for experienced female dancers for the restaging of the site-specific dance performance Wiek. Rehearsal period April and May 2018 with performance dates up to and including September 2018 in the Netherlands.
Schweigman&: Schweigman& is a Utrecht-based theatre company under the artistic leadership of Boukje Schweigman.
Schweigman& performances immerse the audience in visual, poetic, sensory spaces, playing with dramatic conventiones and toying with theatre codes. For the last 15 years the company has been producing exceptional and unique interdisciplinary theatre performances, highly acclaimed by press and audiences.
Wiek:
The starting-point of the performances is the body in space, with a focus on the physical presence of performers and audience and the sensitivity connected with this shared presence. In the complex choreography of Wiek the three dancers are confronting the elements; the sand under their feet, weather conditions in the open air and the inescapable, independently rotating horizontal blades of a rotor.
Schweigman& is looking for experienced, female dancers with strong dance technique, subtle performance quality, virtuosity, and physical stamina.
Candidates should have completed a professional dance education, preferably in modern/contemporary, and have an affinity with the works of Schweigman& that straddle the genres and techniques of dance and Dutch mime/physical performance theatre.
For this work the dancers need to be highly skilled in jumping as well as floorwork and need to be accustomed to working with an existing complex choreography. The performance is danced on bare feet in sand, within a specially designed circular arena in the open air.

Auditie voor herneming Wiek een dansvoorstelling op locatie van Schweigman&
Schweigman& zoekt ervaren dansers (v) voor de herneming van de bestaande choreografie Wiek. Repetitieperiode april en mei 2018, voorstellingen tot eind september 2018.
Schweigman&:
Het Utrechtse theatergezelschap Schweigman& maakt woordeloos, beeldend en muzikaal theater waarin de zintuigen op scherp worden gezet en wordt gespeeld met de verwachtingen van het publiek en de codes van het theater. Dit levert poëtische belevenissen op waarin de toeschouwer wordt teruggeworpen op zichzelf.
Wiek:
Bij de voorstellingen is het uitgangspunt het lichaam in de ruimte. Daarbij ligt de nadruk op de fysieke aanwezigheid van de spelers en het publiek, en de bijbehorende sensitiviteit. In de complexe choreografie van Wiek gaan drie dansers de strijd aan met elementen zoals een ondergrond van zand, weersomstandigheden en een zelfstandig bewegende, horizontale wiek.
Hiervoor zoekt Schweigman& vrouwelijke ervaren dansers met een sterke danstechniek, subtiele spelkwaliteiten, virtuositeit en doorzettingsvermogen.
De kandidaten hebben een dansvakopleiding afgerond, bij voorkeur modern/contemporary, en een affiniteit met het werk van Schweigman& op het
snijvlak tussen dans en abstracte mime. De kandidaten moeten beschikken over zowel hoge sprongkracht als ook floorwork skills, en moeten geoefend zijn in het werken met een vaststaande complexe choreografie. De choreografie wordt uitgevoerd in de buitenlucht, op blote voeten in het zand.
