Nederlands Dans Theater cerca un maître de ballet da agosto 2017 per i danzatori e le danzatrici della compagnia principale, NDT 1. Si offre impiego fulltime (38 ore alla settimana) .
Il Ballet Master, tra le altre, ha le seguenti responsabilità :
- assistere i coreografi nei loro processi creativi;
- mantenere il repertorio esistente che è presentato sia nazionalmente che internazionalmente dal NDT1;
- lavorare globalmente con la compagnia ed essere responsabile per specifici lavori durante le prove, la prova generale e gli spettacoli;
- nutrire artisticamente gli artisti della compagnia e supportarli nei processi creativi a fianco al resto del team;
- deve essere capace di dare classi di balletto alla compagna quando necessario, sia per brevi periodi a L’Aia che in tournée.
I candidati devono avere i seguenti requisiti:
- buona esperienza in una vasta gamma di stili contemporanei e dei processi creativi, assistendo i coreografi e provando il repertorio esistente;
- buon senso del lavoro in team composto da artisti top provenienti da tutto il mondo;
- saper comunicare in inglese.
Il Nederlands Dans Theater offre lavoro in un ambiente flessibile con atmosfera piacevole informale e professionale. Lo stipendio dipende dalla formazione e dall’esperienza. Il Collective Agreement for Theatre & Dance si applica per questa posizione.

Nederlands Dans Theater are looking Ballet Master NDT 1
Nederlands Dans Theater are looking for a new colleague, as from August 2017, for the position of Ballet Master NDT 1 m/f. Fulltime employment (38.00 hours per week).
The Ballet Master has the following tasks/responsibilities, among others:
- Assisting choreographers in their creative process;
- Maintaining ballets of existing repertoire which are performed nationally and internationally from NDT1;
- Traveling globally with the company and be responsible for specific works in rehearsals, generals, and performances;
- Nurturing the artists of the company artistically and support them in creative processes along with the rest of the artistic team;
- Ability to teach the company classical ballet class when necessary, either for short periods in The Hague, or on tour with the company.
Suitable candidates for this position will need the following qualities:
- A good experience in a broad variety of contemporary styles and creative processes in assisting choreographers and rehearsing existing repertoire;
- Good people skills and a sense of working as a team with top artists from around the world;
- Communication skills in English.
