Michael Keegan-Dolan cerca danzatori per lavorare con lui alla nuova creazione nel 2018, che sarà co-prodotta dalla sua compagnia Teac Damsa (ex Fabulous Beast) e dal Sadler’s Wells Theatre.
Sta cercando anche danzatori che possano prendere parte a Swan Lake / Loch na hEala per tournée nazionale ed internazionale nel 2017 e 2018.
La nuova creazione sarà tra il 1 agosto e il 31 ottobre 2018 in Irlanda, e performance a Londra dal 23 al 28 ottobre.
I candidati inclusi nella shortlist saranno invitati a partecipare a uno o a entrambi i brevi workshop (3 sessioni di 3 ore) tenuti da Michael Keegan-Dolan.
I workshop si terranno a Londra e a Dublino.
- Londra: Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, da venerdì 21 a domenica 23 aprile 2017 (venerdì 19:00-22:00, sabato 13:30-17:30 e domenica 10:00-13:00)
- Dublino: il luogo verrà comunicato, da venerdì 2 a domenica 4 giugno 2017 (venerdì 19:00- 22:00, sabato e domenica dalle 10:00 alle 13:00)
Per candidarsi mandare entro il 4 aprile 2017 a workshops@teacdamsa.com un breve curriculum vitae, foto, video link (se ne avete uno) e breve lettera in cui spiegate perché vorreste partecipare.
Tutti i danzatori che trovano questa proposta allettante sono invitati a candidarsi ivi compresi coloro che avevano precedentemente partecipato a un workshop o si erano candidati. Il seminario sarà limitato a un massimo di 20 partecipanti e i selezionati verranno invitati al più presto.
Non sarà inviata comunicazione ai candidati non selezionati.
Michael Keegan-Dolan è supportato dall’Arts Council of Ireland ed è artista associato al Sadler’s Wells Theatre. La tournée internazionale è supportata da Culture Ireland.

Michael Keegan-Dolan is looking for dancers
Michael Keegan-Dolan is looking for dancers to work with him on a new creation in 2018, which will be co-production between his company Teac Damsa (formerly Fabulous Beast) and Sadler’s Wells Theatre.
He is also looking for dancers who could potentially be part of the Swan Lake / Loch na hEala company for some national and international touring in 2017 and 2018.
The dates for new creation will be between August 1st – October 31st 2018 in Ireland, with performances in London, 23rd – 28th October.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in one of two short workshops (3 sessions of 3 hours) led by Michael Keegan-Dolan.
Workshops will take place in London and in Dublin.
- London: Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd, April 2017 (Friday 7pm-10pm, Saturday 1.30pm – 5.30pm and Sunday 10am -1pm)
- Dublin: Venue TBC. Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th, June 2017 (Friday 7pm-10pm, Saturday 10am-1pm and Sunday 10am -1pm)

All dancers who find this proposition inspiring are welcome to apply, including people who have attended a workshop before or applied before. The workshop will be limited to a maximum of 20 participants and those invited will be notified as soon as possible.
