ŻfinMalta Dance Ensemble, la compagnia nazionale di danza contemporanea di Malta con la direzione artistica di Mavin Khoo, organizza un’audizione per posti da apprendisti danzatori full-time in seno alla compagnia.
I danzatori devono avere esperienza. essere versatili con forte tecnica classica, capacità nell’improvvisazione, floor work e nel partnering. Devono essere aperti a lavorare con vari metodi e processi fuori e dentro lo dello spazio e andare oltre alle convenzioni tradizionali della danza. Inoltre devono essere capaci di saper usare testo e voce.
I candidati devono mandare curriculum vitae con un link-video in cui siano chiaramente identificabili (YouTube o Vimeo) NON più lungo di 5 minuti che sarà visto dal direttore artistico. Video maggiori di 5′ non saranno guardati.
I danzatori selezionati saranno invitati per un giorno completo di audizione che si terrà lunedì 15 maggio 2017 a Valletta, a Malta, presso il Mediterranean Conference Centre. Ai prescelti verrà chiesto di stare ulteriori due giorni per apprendere il repertorio della compagnia nei giorni 16 e 17 maggio 2017.

ŻfinMalta Dance Ensemble Call for full-time company dancer/s and apprentice dancers
ŻfinMalta Dance Ensemble, Malta’s national contemporary dance company, under the artistic direction of Mavin Khoo, is holding an open audition for full-time company dancer/s and apprentice dancers.
Dancers must be experienced, versatile with strong classical, improvisation, floor work and partnering skills. Dancers must be open to various working methods and processes within and outside the studio space that go beyond traditional dance based conventions. Dancers must be able to use voice and text.
Applicants are asked to identify which role they are applying for and submit a CV together with a video (YouTube or Vimeo) NOT longer than 5 minutes to be viewed by the artistic director. Videos that are longer than 5 minutes will not be reviewed. If the video sent is a showreel, kindly indicate who you are in the video.
Selected dancers will be invited to a full day audition that will take place on Monday 15th May 2017 at our studios at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta. Shortlisted dancers will be asked to stay on for two extra days to learn company repertoire on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th May 2017.
Successful applicant/s chosen to fill the position/s of full-time company dancer/s will enter into a PAID contract with ŻfinMalta, that will run from September 2017 to July 2018.
Successful applicants chosen to fill the positions of apprentice dancers will enter into a 10-month UNPAID contract with ŻfinMalta, that will run from September 2017 to July 2018.
