IDACO nyc 2017 (2-4 giugno 2017) è interessato a lavori di danza di coreografi la cui idea artistica o concept sia in relazione alla cultura italiana indipendentemente dalla loro nazionalità.
La missione di IDACO’s è di connettere i coreografi italiani ed internazionali e gli artisti che vivono o visitano New York City con la scena artistica contemporanea locale. Si vuole incoraggiare il networking e la ricerca artistica tra le molteplici risorse dell’arte performativa a New York City. IDACO costruirà relationships e offre un ambiente stimolante, di supporto e creativo per artisti visivi e video, musicisti, scultori, fotografi e tutti coloro che lavorano ed operano nell’arte del movimento.
IDACO nyc 2017 garantirà ai candidati scelti: fino a 2 performances al Baruch Performing Arts Center di new York tra il 2 e il 4 giugno 2017 al The Rose Nagelberg Theatre di New York (altre locations in site-specific saranno confermate); promozione e marketing; foto e documentazione video della performance; supporto tecnico ; partecipazione alle opening e ai ricevimenti di tutti gli eventi in network (workshop, seminari, video proiezioni, mostre); meeting con operatori statunitensi e se possibile anche europei per promuovere gli artisti selezionati.
La scadenza per la candidature è lunedì 16 gennaio 2017 alle ore 23:59.

IDACO nyc 2017 (June 2-4, 2017) is interested in dance works of choreographers, whose artistic idea or concept relate to Italian culture, regardless of their nationality
IDACO’s mission is to connect Italian and international choreographers and artists who live or visit New York City with the local contemporary art scene. We want to encourage networking and artistic research between the multiple creative resources of NYC performing arts. IDACO will build relationships and offer a supportive, inspiring, creative environment for visual & video artists, musicians, sculptors, photographers, and all artists who are working with the “art of movement”.
IDACO nyc 2017 will guarantee selected applicants: up to two performances at BARUCH PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (The Rose Nagelberg Theatre) and other site-specific to be confirmed, between June 2nd and June 4th 2017; promotion and marketing; photo and video documentation of the performance; technical support and facilities; participation in the opening and closing receptions and all networking events of the event (e.g., workshops, seminars, video projections, art exhibitions); meetings with USA, and possibly European, presenters to promote the selected artists’ work.
