Barrowland Ballet, compagnia di danza contemporanea basata a Glasgow, diretta dalla coreografa Natasha Gilmore, è alla ricerca di performers (uomini e donne) da integrare alla compagnia per una gamma di progetti tra il 2017 e il 2018. Essi includono la nuova creazione Wolves dal 23 gennaio al 25 marzo 2017 (uomini e donne) e le tournée nazionali che internazionali dell’attuale repertorio Little Red e Whiteout (solo donne).
Si cercano performers maturi e versatili con forte tecnica contemporanea e capacità nel contact. I candidati devono essere forti, a proprio agio col canto e con esperienza a lavorare sia in un contesto di improvvisazione che fissato.
L’audizione del Barrowland Ballet è aperta a danzatori uomini e donne dai 25 anni in su e si svolgerà sabato 10 dicembre 2016 a Glasgow, in Scozia, nella sala prove 1 del Wallace Studios, 210 Garscube Rd, G4 9RR (entrata nel retro dell’edificio). Registrazione dalle ore 09.15; la classe dell’audizione inizia dalle 10.00. L’audizione proseguirà domenica 11 dicembre 2016 solo per i candidati selezionati il 10 dicembre.
Si prega di portare con sé una foto (che non verrà resa) e un recente curriculum vitae stampato. Potete portare anche delle ginocchiere.
I danzatori devono avere il permesso per lavorare in UK.
Il lavoro avrà di base a Glasgow, in Scozia.

Barrowland Ballet Open Audition (UK)
Barrowland Ballet, Glasgow-based contemporary dance company, led by choreographer Natasha Gilmore is looking for male and female performers to join the company for a range of projects throughout 2017-2018. Projects from January 2017 include new creation Wolves from 23rd January – 25th March 2017 (males and females) and touring of current repertoire Little Red and Whiteout both nationally and internationally (females only).
We are looking for mature, versatile performers with strong contemporary technique and contact skills. Candidates must be strong, confident singers and experienced in working within both a devised and improvised context.
Open Audition – Barrowland Ballet – male and female dancers aged 25yrs+
- Saturday 10th December 2016 (OPEN)
- Sunday 11th December 2016 (selected candidates only)
at Rehearsal Studio 1, Wallace Studios, 210 Garscube Rd, Glasgow G4 9RR (entrance via the back of the building). Registration starts at 09.15am; Audition classes from 10.00am.
Please bring a non-returnable photo and current copy of your C.V. You may also want to bring knee pads.
Dancers must have the right to work in the UK.
Work will be based in Glasgow, Scotland.
