Northern School of Contemporary Dance è alla ricerca di candidature per Northern Connections, un’opportunità di sviluppo e performance per artisti emergenti basati nel Nord dell’Inghilterra.

Se selezionati il coreografo e i suoi danzatori/collaboratori riceveranno un supporto finanziario per intraprendere 3 settimane di residenza di creazione/prove presso il NSCD e allo Yorkshire Dance a Leeds, con tutoraggio da parte di Spin Arts.
I candidati scelti saranno supportati nel loro lavoro in scena e avranno l’opportunità di presentarlo come parte di una serata tripla presso il NSCD’s Riley Theatre, a Leeds, il 27 aprile oppure il 28 settembre 2017.
La lista dei precedenti artisti di Northern Connections include: Jamaal Burkmar, Gracefool Collective, Carlos Pons Guerra, Crystal Zillwood, Anthony Middleton e James Finnemore.
Northern Connections è finanziato dall’Arts Council England.

Northern Connections Open Call Residency and Platform
Northern School of Contemporary Dance is seeking applications for Northern Connections, an artist development and performance opportunity for emerging artists based in the North of England.
Where: Leeds, UK
Deadline for applications: 20 November 2016
If selected, you and your dancers/collaborators will receive funding to undertake a 3 week creative/rehearsal studio residency at NSCD and Yorkshire Dance in Leeds, with bespoke business advice and mentoring from Spin Arts.
Successful applicants will be supported to stage and light their work, and have the opportunity to present it as part of a triple bill showcase at NSCD’s Riley Theatre, Leeds, on 27 April or 28 September 2017.
Previous Northern Connections artists include: Jamaal Burkmar (subsequent winner of the 2016 New Adventures Choreographer award), Gracefool Collective, Carlos Pons Guerra, Crystal Zillwood, Anthony Middleton and James Finnemore.
Northern Connections is funded by Arts Council England.
