T a n z t h e a t e r Adrian Look (TAL) sta cercando 4 danzatori uomini o performer fisici per l’imminente produzione Father and Son.
Father and Son sarà un pezzo di teatrodanza che esplora le storie dei figli i cui padri hanno lasciato la famiglia nell’infanzia e nell’età dell’adolescenza. Sarà un pezzo di 15-20 minuti che trasmetterà le conseguenze emotive, psicologiche e pratiche dell’assenza del padre incluse le lotte, le speranze e i desideri (per entrambi). Si vuole idealmente provare a rappresentare biografe e quindi si cercano danzatori sia giovani che meno giovani che appartangano a questa tipologia e che abbiano voglia di condividere la loro vera storia:
- figli il cui padre se n’è andato durante l’infanzia o la tenera età
- padri che si sono lasciati la famiglia alle spalle.
Si cercano danzatori o performer fisici con forte tecnica contemporanea, capacità nel contact e abilità a trasmettere uno stato emozionale in modo credibile.
Il premiato visual artist e ricercatore etnografico Cristobal Catalan collaborerà con TAL per questo pezzo pertanto i candidati devono essere a loro agio di fronte alla camera da presa.
Father and Son debutterà al Resolution Festival al The Place di Londra venerdì 27 gennaio 2017.
Il periodo principale delle prove si terrà da metà dicembre 2016.

Tanztheater Adrian Look Audition in London (UK)
T a n z t h e a t e r Adrian Look (TAL) is looking for four male dancers/physical performers for their upcoming production, Father and Son.
Father and Son will be a Tanztheater (Dance Theatre) piece exploring the stories of sons whose fathers left their families during their childhood or teenage years. The 15-20 minute piece will convey the emotional, psychological and practical consequences of the father’s absence for the child (and father) including their struggles, hopes and wishes.
We are ideally looking to represent biographical stories, and hence are initially looking for both younger and older dancers, who belong to one of these groups and are willing to share their true stories:
- Sons, whose father left during childhood or teenage years
- Fathers, who left a family behind
We are looking for dancers or physical performers with a strong contemporary technique, contact improvisation skills and the ability to convey an emotional state in a credible way.
Award-winning visual artist and ethnographic researcher Cristobal Catalan will collaborate with TAL on this piece, therefore applicants must be comfortable in front of a camera.
Father and Son will premiere at Resolution Festival at The Place London on Friday, 27 Jan 2017.
The main rehearsal period will be in mid- December 2016.
