Choreography 31. International Competition for Choreographers di Hannover 2017 (Germania)
Concorso per coreografi sotto i 35 anni diretto quest'anno da Nanine Linning. In giuria direttori di prestigiose compagnie. Premi in denaro e premi di produzione che permetteranno ai vincitori di creare coreografie per Delattre Dance Company, Scapino Ballett di Rotterdam, il Bundesjugendballett di Amburgo fondato da John Neumeier e la Gauthier Dance di Stoccarda. Nel 2017 il Concorso Internazionale per Coreografi di Hannover sarà diretto da Nanine Linning. I coreografi sono incoraggiati a candidarsi.
Il Concorso si svolgerà il 17 e 18 giugno 2017
Linee guida del concorso:
Tutti i partecipanti, danzatori o coreografi, devono avere formazione professionale coreutica.
I coreografi possono avere fino a 35 anni. Il concorso è aperto a ogni tipo di stile. La valutazione è basata esclusivamente sull’uso dello spazio e del tempo, sulla realizzazione di un’idea e sulla trasmissione di questa nei performers. La durata della performance dovrà avere una durata compresa tra i 5 e i 12 minuti. In caso di assolo, il brano non potrà essere interpretato dallo stesso coreografo.
I candidati sono liberi nella scelta del soggetto e della musica. Un PAL-DVD (Video) del lavoro coreografico deve essere mandato agli organizzatori. Il DVD può contenere solo la coreografia che verrà presentata al concorso. In alternativa è possibile inviare un link-video.
L’ammontare dei tre premi è di 13.500 euro. Il Premio del Pubblico vince 1.000 euro. Inoltre c’è il Premio della Critica che vince 1.500 euro.
Production Awards
Premio della Delattre Dance Company: Il vincitore riceverà l’opportunità di presentare la coreografa del concorso come produzione della Delattre Dance Company coi danzatori della stessa DDC.
In occasione del 30° anniversario del Concorso Internazionale di Hanover, la Fondazione Tanja Liedtke donerà 3 settimane di borsa di studio presso l’Australian Dance Theatre di Adelaide, Australia. Questo Premio sarà dato da Garry Stewart, Direttore dell’Australian Dance Theatre. La borsa di studio include le spese di viaggio, la sistemazione e il tutoraggio da parte del ADT.
Premio di Produzione dello Scapino Ballet. Dal 2005 Ed Wubbe assegna il Premio Scapino. Il Premio include lo sviluppo e la presentazione di una coreografia con i danzatori dello Scapino Ballet.
Premio di produzione Bundesjugendballett. Il Bundesjugendballett è stato fondato da John Neumeier nel 2011. Dal 2012 esso sponsorizza un Premio di Produzione. Parte di questo premio è lo sviluppo di una coreografia col Bundesjugendballett.
Premio di produzione con la Gauthier Dance // Dance Company Theaterhaus Stuttgart Nel 2014 Eric Gauthier offrì il primo Premio di Produzione presso la Gauthier Dance / Dance Company Theaterhaus Stuttgart. Gauthier Dance è stata fondata nel 2007. Eric Gauthier è stato premiato dal German Dance Prize »Future« per la coreografia nel 2011.

International Choreographic Competition Hannover
In 2017, the International Competition for Choreographers in Hanover will operate under the conduct of Nanine Linning. Choreographers are invited to apply.
When: 17th and 18th of June, 2017
Competition guidelines:
All participants, choreographers and dancers, ought to have professional training.
Choreographers must be 35 or younger. The competition is open to any kind of style. Evaluation is based exclusively on imaginative use of space and time, the realisation of an idea, and its transfer onto the performers. The duration of the performance, have to be between 5 and 12 minutes. A solo-ballet may not be interpreted by the choreographer him/herself.
The applicant is free in his choice of subject and music. A PAL-DVD (Video) of the choreographic work must be delivered to the organisers. The DVD may only contain the choreography to be performed in the competition. Alternatively is a video/Internet-link possible.
The money that can be won for the first 3 endowed prizes amounts 13.500 EUR. The audience prize amounts 1.000 EUR. Furthermore there is a critics prize of 1.500 EUR
Production Awards
NEW: Delattre Dance Company Award – The winner will receive the opportunity to present the choreography shown in the competition in a production of the Delattre Dance Company with the dancers of DDC.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the International competition for choreographers in Hanover, the Tanja Liedtke Foundation donated a three week‘s scholarship at the Australian Dance Theatre in Adelaide, Australia. This Prize will be awarded by Garry Stewart, Director of The Australian Dance Theatre. The scholarship includes travel costs, accomodation, and ADT tuition.
Scapino Production Award – Since 2005 Ed Wubbe awards the Scapino production award. The award includes the development of an unique choreography with dancers from Scapino Ballet and the presentation in the series TWOOLS.
Since 2012: Bundesjugendballett Production Award – The Bundesjugendballett was founded by John Neumeier in 2011. Since 2012 the Bundesjugendballett also sponsors a production award. Part of the award is the development of a choreography with the Bundesjugendballett.
Production Award Gauthier Dance // Dance Company Theaterhaus Stuttgart – In 2014 Eric Gauthier offered for the first time the Production Award Gauthier Dance / Dance Company Theaterhaus Stuttgart. Gauthier Dance was founded in 2007. Eric Gauthier has been awarded the German Dance Prize »Future« 2011 for choreography.
