LUCKY TRIMMER cerca pezzi brevi originali per al sua 25° edizione che si terrà il 14 e 15 aprile 2017 alla SOPHIENSAELE nel cuore di Berlino in Germania.

LUCKY TRIMMER propone sia artisti emergenti che quelli più conosciuti presentando una selezione di lavori che sono improntati sulla fisicità, il movimento e la performance. Per ogni edizione il team di curatori seleziona pezzi brevi da candidature internazionali e li assembla per formare uno stravagante programma. LUCKY TRIMMER si colloca tra il mondo dell’avanguardia e la ‘mainstream’ combinando l’eccellenza artistica con la leggerezza e l’intrattenimento. Ci si rivolge soprattutto alla danza contemporanea ma il bando è aperto anche a tutti i generi che rispettino le 3 regole di LUCKY: essere originale, essere audace e stare entro i 10 minuti. Grazie alla crescente e rinomata reputazione su vasta scala si invitano artisti internazionali e professionisti dei settori culturali e delle arti come ospiti della piattaforma. LUCKY TRIMMER ha sviluppato un network di partners co-produttori e collaboratori con quali si è stretta una relazione fornendo ulteriori opportunità performative agli artisti.

Le candidature sono soggette a una tassa di 15 €
LUCKY TRIMMER non riceve finanziamenti pubblici. E’ un’organizzazione ‘no profit’ realizzata esclusivamente grazie al volontariato del proprio team e al suo network di sponsor privati. Le vostre candidature rappresentano un contributo significativo per al realizzazione del festival e aiutano ad assicurare che LUCKY TRIMMER rimanga uno showcase determinante per la scena performativa internazionale. I proventi delle tasse di iscrizione vengono usati soltanto per la realizzazione del LUCKY TRIMMER Tanz Performance Serie.
Retribuzione: 500 € a piece + piccolo contributo per viaggio e alloggio (soggetto a budget).
L’organizzazione può assistere gli artisti nel trovare una sistemazione occasionale economica o gratuita.
Info: La durata di 10 minuti come limite di ogni pièce non è negoziabile! Avrete soltanto un’ora in palcoscenico per prova spazi e generale; pertanto fate in modo che le luci e le necessità tecniche siano davvero semplici.

LUCKY TRIMMER is seeking original short pieces for its 25th edition, held on April 14th & 15, 2017 at SOPHIENSAELE theatre in the heart of Berlin, Germany. You’ve got until November 30thto send us your best shot with an up-to-10-minute piece.

LUCKY TRIMMER spotlights both emerging and established artists by showcasing a selection of works that are engaged with physicality, movement and performance. For each edition, our curatorial team selects short pieces that touch our hearts out of a pool of international applications and assembles them to form an extravagant feature-length program. LUCKY TRIMMER stands between worlds by bridging the avant-garde and the mainstream and by combining artistic excellence with the lightness of entertainment. Our world revolves around contemporary dance but is open to all genres as long as the 3 LUCKY-rules are followed: be original, be bold and keep it under 10 minutes! Thanks to our ever growing global exposure and worldwide reputation, we have been able to invite international artists and professionals of the cultural and art sectors as regular guests of our platform. We have developed a network of co-production partners and collaborators with whom we now nurture close relationships providing our featured artists with additional performance opportunities.

Submissions are subject to an application fee of 15 €
LUCKY TRIMMER does not receive any public funding. Our non profit organisation relies exclusively on the volunteering work of its production team and its network of private sponsors. Your application represents a significant contribution towards the realisation of the festival and helps to ensure that LUCKY TRIMMER remains an influential showcase for the international dance and performance scene. The proceeds from your application fee are used exclusively for the realisation of the LUCKY TRIMMER Tanz Performance Serie.
Money: 500 € per piece + a small financial contribution will be offered towards the coverage of travel and lodging costs (depending on budget).
We can assist our artists in finding cheap or occasionally free lodging. We cannot promise any miracles but we come pretty close to it sometimes!
Info: Our 10-minute-limit per piece is as always holy and non-negotiable! You will only have 1 hour to tech and space your piece on stage so keep your lighting and technical wishes simple.
