Audizione danzatori e danzatrici per due progetti di teatro danza di Sally Marie (UK)

Per due progetti di teatrodanza diretti da Sally Marie si cercano per questa estate danzatori uomini e donne.  L’audizione avrà luogo a Londra il 4 giugno 2016 al Rambert Dance Company Studios, The Southbank. Questa location deve essere confermata. Previsto anche il call back il 5 giugno 2016. The Place, Dukes Road Euston. Dalle 10:00 alle 18:00 entrambi i giorni. Probabilmente si inizierà con una classe di improvvisazione e da lì si continuerà.

Primo progetto – Every day people

Solo i weekend dal 9 luglio al 21 agosto 2016 (£180 al giorno / £360 per ogni weekend / £2520 in totale). Per questo progetto si cercano 3 danzatori uomini o donne. Sei membri del pubblico stanno andando a coreografare il loro proprio pezzo di danza con tre ballerini professionisti, con me stesso come intermediario. Il candidato dovrà essere aperto e versatile, buon giocatore di squadra e in possesso di una grande memoria (poiché è possibile che si lavori anche su tre diversi pezzi in uno stesso giorno nel corso degli 8 week-end).

Secondo progetto – Tree

Dal 29 agosto al 25 settembre 2016. Un pezzo di danza a serata intera sulla nostra connessione con la natura / anche una commedia. Ha debuttato in indoor e adesso è reinventato per il InsideOut Festival nel Dorset. Per questo progetto si cercano di 3 danzatori uomini, e possibilmente una danzatrice (se basata nel Bournemouth è meglio ma sarà data la sistemazione).

Stiamo cercando tre uomini diversi. E anche un cast nella comunità dell’area di Bournemouth.

1° uomo: forse una donna infatti sarà qualcuno carismatico, molto divertente e a proprio agio col testo.

2° uomo: Grande “mover”, qualcuno che forse può venire dalla breakdance e che sia competente col testo. Questa parte è un ragazzo di città che ama il calcio.

3° uomo: qualcuno intenso che sia grande “mover” e capace nel contact. Non è necessario che sia così abile col testo.

Sally Mary ha avuto la commissione quindi il lavoro si farà sicuramente ma si è in attesa della decisione sui finanziamenti per estendere o meno il periodo di prove. Il lavoro è retribuito. Circa £450 alla settimana per 4 settimane, in cui sono inclusi gli spettacoli.

Si spera che queste iniziali performances possano portare a ulteriori date nei Festival nella prossima estate.

L’audizione è aperta a professionisti e ai neodiplomati.

Sally Marie Audition  (UK)

We are looking for dancers (male and female) for two dance-theatre projects this summer, directed by Sally Marie. The audition will take place on the 4th June at Rambert Dance Company Studios, The Southbank. This location is to be confirmed. And also the 5th June for call backs. The Place, Dukes Road Euston. 10-6pm both days. We’ll start with probably an improvisation class and then go on from there.

Every Day People

Just weekends only, from 9th July – 21st August (£180 a day / £360 for each weekend / £2520 in total). We are looking for three dancers, male or female. Six members of the public are going to choreograph their own dance work on three professional dancers, with myself as go-between. You’ll need to be warm and open, versatile, a good team player and possess a great memory – as you may be work on three different pieces in a day over the 8 weekends.

Tree

29th August – 25th September. Full-length dance-theatre work about our connection to nature / also a comedy. It has already premiered as an indoor work & is now going to be re-imagined as an outdoor piece for the InsideOut Festival in Dorset. We need 3 Male dancers, possibly one female. ( It’s mostly Bournemouth based, yet accommodation will be provided.

We are looking for three very different men. And also a community cast from the Bournemouth area.

Ist Man: Possibly a woman in fact. Someone very funny, emotional, charismatic and good at text.

2nd Man Great mover, someone who can breakdance perhaps / and who is also competent at text. This part is a city bloke who loves football.

3rd Man: Someone intense who is a great mover and good at contact. Does not need to be able to do text really.

We have already been commissioned and so it’s definitely happening, only I am awaiting a funding decision to extend the rehearsal process. This will be a paid position. Likely around £450 a week for four weeks, which includes the shows.

We are hoping these initial performances may lead to further performances at Festivals next summer. The audition is open – to give new graduates a chance as much as anything.
