Triskelion Arts accetta candidature per il Dance Film Festival di New York

Triskelion Arts promuove l’espansione della forma d’arte della videodanza con la seconda edizione del Dance Film Festival che si svolgerà mercoledì e giovedì 13 e 14 luglio 2016, alle 19.30, presso Muriel Schulman Theater al Triskelion Arts, 106 Calyer Street, Brooklyn, New York.
Evidenziando il complesso rapporto tra coreografo e regista, il festival programma film nazionali e internazionali basati sulla danza che estendono i confini di ciò che sarebbe possibile sul palco. Per farne una vera e propria festa, le proiezioni delle due notti di festival sono seguite sia via chat che nel bar.
I film possono durare fino a 20 minuti e essere presentati in una o in entrambe le notti del festival. Per iscriversi non è richiesta alcuna tassa.
Per sottoporre un video si prega di compilare il formulario includendo un link per la visione online (essere sicuri di accludere una password se necessaria). Se sarete accettati vi verrà chiesto un file Quicktime che dovrà essere inoltrato entro mercoledì 1 giugno 2016.

Ai selezionati Triskelion Arts provvederà con:
- Uno o più proiezioni durante il festival a discrezione del Triskelion Arts.
- Cartolina, progettazione e stampa come anche rassegna stampa e altro materiale promozionale inclusi i supporti digitali.
- Gestione delle vendita dei biglietti di tutte le performances.
- Due biglietti omaggio da usare da parte del coreografo o del direttore nella notte di proiezione.
- Un biglietto omaggio uno spettacolo a scelta per ogni candidato al Triskelion Arts Presents escluso da questo festival.

Triskelion Arts are now accepting submissions for the Dance Film Feastival.
When: Wednesday and Thursday, July 13 – 14, 2016 at 7:30pm. Where: Muriel Schulman Theater at Triskelion Arts, 106 Calyer Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222.
Triskelion Arts is fostering the expanding dance-on-camera art form with our second annual dance film festival this July. Highlighting the complex relationship between choreographer and filmmaker, the festival celebrates national and international dance-based films that stretch the boundaries of what would be possible on the stage. Experience site-specific visual escapades as well as character-driven narratives in this exclusive two-night event. To make for a real feast, screenings are followed by chat, pizza, and a cash bar in the courtyard.
Films can be up to 20 minutes in length, and will be presented in one or both nights of the festival. No entry fee required!
To submit, please fill out the entry form including a link to an online screener (be sure to include any necessary passwords). If accepted, we will ask for a Quicktime file to be provided no later than Wednesday, June 1st.
Deadline to Submit: Sunday, April 10th, 2016.
Triskelion Arts will provide the following for selected participants:
- One or more performance slots during the two-night festival, at the discretion of Triskelion Arts.
- Postcard and program design and printing as well as press releases and other promotional materials, including digital media.
- Management of ticket sales for all performances.
- Two complimentary tickets, for use by the choreographer and/or director, to the night of their sceening.
- One free ticket to any future Triskelion Arts Presents show of their choosing (excluding this festival).
