Derida Dance Center a Sofia, in Bulgaria apre l’invito per residenze artistiche nel campo della danza contemporanea e della perrformance nel 2016. Saranno selezionati quattro artisti di danza contemporanea e/o compagnie provenienti da altri paesi (extra Bulgaria). Ogni residenza durerà tra 20 e 30 giorni. I candidati possono esprimere le loro preferenze per la durata 20-30 giorni all’interno del periodo compreso tra 1 Agosto e 30 settembre.
Alla fine della residenza la performance completa o un work in progress dovranno essere presentati al Derida Dance Center.
Ad ogni artista residente o compagnia residente è richiesto di tenere un workshop di 10 ore con danzatori locali (5 giorni, 2 ore al giorno). Alla fine del workshop verrà presentato il risultato al Derida Dance Center.

Quando: un periodo da 20 a 30 giorni compreso tra il 1 agosto e il 30 settembre 2016.

Come candidarsi: per candidarsi per una residenza si prega di fare il download del formulario, compilarlo e rimandarlo a office@derida-dance.com non oltre il 31 gennaio 2016.
Tutte le candidature verranno prese in considerazione per mezzo del processo di selezione e i selezionati saranno informati via e-mail entro il 15 febbraio 2016.
Derida Dance Center provvederà allo spazio e all’equipe tecnica (fonico) per le prove. Ogni residenza riceverà un ammontare di 600 BGN (circa 300 euro) per le spese di viaggio. La sistemazione verrà fornita dalla Municipalità di Sofia – partner e principale supporto finanziario del Derida Dance Center Residency Program. Ogni altra spesa giornaliera o di altra natura NON sarà coperta e sarà responsabilità dei residenti.

Derida Dance Center in Sofia, Bulgaria opens a call for artistic residencies in the field of contemporary dance and performance for 2016. Four contemporary dance artists/artistic teams coming from outside of Bulgaria will be selected. Each residency will last 20 to 30 days. The applicants can express their preferences for a 20 to 30-day period within the time frame August 1st – Sept 30th.
At the end of the residency either a complete performance or work in progress needs to be presented in Derida Dance Center.
Each resident/residency team is required to lead a 10-hour workshop with local dancers (5 days, 2 hours per day). At the end of the workshop a presentation of the results will be done in Derida Dance Center

How to apply: In order to apply for a residency, you need to download, fill in and send the application file to office@derida-dance.com no later than January 31st 2016.
All the applications will go through a selection process and the applicants selected for a residency will be informed by e-mail by Feb 15th.
Derida Dance Center will provide space and technical equipment (sound system) for rehearsals. Each residency will receive a sum of 600 BGN (around 300 euros) for travel expenses. Accommodation will be provided by Sofia Municipality – a partner and main financial supporter of Derida Dance Center Residency Program. Daily and any other kind of expenses are NOT covered and are responsibility of the residents.
