La 19° edizione del Festival of Alternative Theatrical Expression FAKI si terrà a Zagabria dal 24 maggio al 29 maggio 2016 in vari spazi adattati della factory Medika, Pierottijeva 11.
Performance artists e gruppi sono invitati a candidarsi per partecipare a FAKI 19, dedicato quest’anno al tema “the elite resistant”, indipendentemente dal genere e forma. FAKI dà una residenza artistica di 3 settimane prima del festival, per le prove finali e il debutto internazionale nella giornata di apertura del 24 maggio.

Quando: 24-29 maggio 2016; 9-29 maggio periodo di residenza.
Scadenza invio candidature: invito aperto fino al 20 gennaio 2016.
La sala per le performance è equipaggiata con dotazione tecnica di base (luci, sound, video proiettore e schermo, tecnici, stage manager). Per gli artisti residenti fuori da Zagabria FAKI provvede all’assistenza tecnica e assistenza di scena, copre o rimborsa le spese di viaggio, sistemazione modesta e vitto vegetariano. FAKI non dà cachet o per diem. L’entrata al festival è gratuita.

The 19th edition of the Festival of Alternative Theatrical Expression FAKI is held in Zagreb from May 24 to May 29, 2016, in the various adapted spaces of the former medical factory Medika, Pierottijeva 11.
Performance artists and collectives are invited to apply for participation in FAKI 19, devoted to “the eliteresistant”, regardless of the genre, form and period of their vision. FAKI gives an art residency three weeks prior to the festival, for final rehearsals and international premiere on the opening day, 24th of May.
Where: Autonomous Culture Centre Attack!, Pierottijeva 11, 10 000 Zagreb.
When: May 24-29 2016; May 9-29 2016, for art residency.
Deadline for applications: The invitation is open until January 20th, 2016.
Our performance halls are equipped with basic technical tools (light, sound, projection screens and projectors, technicians, stage manager). FAKI provides technical and stage assistance, covers or refunds cheap travel costs, modest accommodation and vegetarian food for artists residing outside Zagreb. FAKI doesn’t give fees or per diems. Admission to the entire festival is free.
