Motionhouse cerca coraggiose ed atletiche performers donne da inserire nella compagnia.
L’audizione si svolgerà sabato 7 novembre 2015 ( con ulteriore giornata domenica 8 novembre per i selezionati) presso Leamington Spa, West Midlands, UK.
Il lavoro sarà presentato anche in tournée nella primavera 2016, inclusa una data in Germania e date al The Peacock Theatre di Londra.
I candidati devono essere disponibili dal 4 gennaio al 10 aprile 2016.
L’attuale piano di lavoro comprende outdoor festival nei mesi estivi, molti progetti in site-specific e ulteriori tour nel Regno Unito e in Danimarca in autunno.
La compagnia cerca danzatrici con maturità ed esperienza, versatili con (preferibilmente) qualche esperienza anche nell’acrobazia, nel circo o nel teatro fisico.
Requisiti richiesti:
- 3 anni di formazione professionale e successiva esperienza scenica
- alto livello di tecnica contemporanea e eccellente capacità nel partnering
- acrobatica, circo e/o lavoro nel teatro fisico
- eccellente forma fisica, stamina e forza
- coraggio e volontà di sperimentare
- senso della performance e del teatro
- volontà a collaborare col coreografo
- grande etica nel lavoro
- capacità di far fronte ad un programma fitto di impegni
- qualche pratica nell’esperienza dell’insegnamento e (ma non essenziale)
- essere autorizzati legalmente a lavorare nel Regno Unito con i regolari permessi o Visa
- volontà a trasferirsi a Leamington Spa o in zona limitrofa
L’audizione è solo su invito e avrà luogo a Leamington Spa e/o a Warwick sabato 7 novembre 2015, con ulteriore audizione per i selezionati domenica 8 novembre. Bisogna essere disponibili entrambi i giorni.

Motionhouse is seeking a courageous, athletic female performer to join the company.
Where: Leamington Spa, West Midlands, UK
When: Saturday 07 November, with a further audition day on Sunday 08 November for those selected.
You will be performing in our middle scale production Broken which has completed three very successful tours and will be touring again in the spring of 2016, including a date in Germany and a run at The Peacock Theatre in London.
You must be available from 04 January to 10 April 2016. We very much hope we will then be able to offer you a further contract. Current plans for 2016 include touring our outdoor festival pieces in the summer months, a large scale site specific project and further middle scale touring in the UK and Denmark next autumn.
We are looking for a mature and experienced dancer with a versatile skills base and preferably some experience in acrobatic, circus or physical theatre work. Our requirements are:
- 3 years vocational training and subsequent performance experience
- A high standard of contemporary technique with excellent partnering skills
- Acrobatic, circus and/or physical theatre skills
- Excellent fitness, stamina and strength
- Courage and willingness to experiment
- Sense of performance and theatricality
- Willingness to collaborate with a choreographer
- A good team player with a strong work ethic
- Ability to cope with a busy schedule
- Some teaching experience (preferable but not essential)
- Must be able to work legally in the UK with relevant visas or work permits
- Willing to relocate to Leamington Spa or nearby location
This job is subject to a DBS enhanced disclosure check.
Audition is by invitation only and will take place in Leamington Spa and/or Warwick on Saturday 07 November, with a further audition day on Sunday 08 November for those selected. You must be available for both days.
