Rosie Kay Dance Company cerca 6 eccezionali danzatori, uomini e donne, per un periodo di ricerca per un nuovo lavoro, MK Ultra.
MK Ultra è il marchio del nuovo lavoro che esplorerà le teorie sulle cospirazioni, la simbologia degli Illuminati, la cultura pop e la manipolazione dei consumatori tramite il mainstream con un lavoro molto energico, fisico, di grande impatto visivo e con movimenti e dinamica estremi.
Dopo il successo di 5 Soldiers, la Rosie Kay Dance Company avrà un periodo di ricerca e di sviluppo a Birmingham, prima della creazione nel 2016. La compagnia cerca danzatori/ici con:
- Tecnica molto forte sia nella danza contemporanea che nel balletto
- Molto in forma, resistenza e forza
- Volontà di sperimentare e creare
- volontà di esplorare idee e collaborare
- volontà di spingere se stessi ai limiti
- mente aperta
- Senso della scena e teatralità (presenza)
Periodo di lavoro: dal 2 al 6 novembre 2015 al DanceXchange, Birmingham. Una settimana di esplorazione, photoshoot e sharing su invito il giorno 6 novembre.
Retribuzione: £450 alla settimana, £50 per rimborso viaggio, £150 indennità di alloggio

L’audizione si svolgerà venerdì 18 settembre 2015 presso DanceXchange, Birmingham Hippodrome, Thorp Street, B4 5TB dalle ore 11.00 alle 17.00 (dalle 10.30 registrazione). Si prega di prepararsi a sostenere una classe di balletto, a creare e ad apprendere il repertorio coreografico. Si prega di portare degli shorts e canottiere.

Rosie Kay Dance Company is looking for six exceptional dancers for a research period for her new work, MK Ultra.
MK Ultra is a brand new work that will explore conspiracy theories, illuminati symbolism, pop culture and mainstream consumer manipulation with a work that will pulse with energy, physicality, imagery and extreme shifts in dynamics.
Following the success of 5 Soldiers, RKDC will have a period of research and development in Birmingham, before creating the work later in 2016.
We’re looking for dancers with:
• Very strong technique in contemporary and ballet
• Very good fitness, stamina and strength
• Willingness to experiment and create
• Willingness to explore ideas and collaborate
• Willingness to push themselves to their limits
Also:
• Open minded
• Sense of performance and theatricality
• Distinctive and unique
Working Period
: 2nd-6th November, DanceXchange, Birmingham. 1 week studio exploration, photoshoot and invited sharing 6th November.
Fees: £450 for the week, £50 travel allowance, £150 accommodation allowance

Times: 10.30 registration, 11.00-17.00 Audition, please be prepared for ballet class, creative tasks and choreographic repertoire. Please also bring shorts and vests.
