La borsa di studio Hodder Fellowship viene data a scrittori e artisti che desiderano proseguire dei progetti presso l’Università di Princeton durante l’anno universitario 2016/2017.
I candidati possono essere scrittori, compositori, coreografi, scultori, performers. Essi saranno selezionati più in base al loro potenziale creativo che sulle creazioni realizzate, ma devono avere delle creazioni già realizzate all’attivo nelle loro rispettive discipline. La borsa è destinata a procurare “un ozio studioso” in vista di una nuova creazione. I borsisti trascorreranno un anno all’Università senza insegnamento formale.
L’ammontare della borsa di studio è di 77.000 $ per una durata di 10 mesi.
I cittadini non americani possono candidarsi.
Per candidarsi: formare un dossier che comprenda un curriculum vitae, un progetto dettagliato (tra 500 e 750 parole), un estratto di 10 minuti di pièces (link video su youTube, Vimeo, Flicker, etc). I dossier possono essere inviati dal 1 luglio 2015 fino alla metà di settembre 2015. I dossier che saranno inviati dopo la data di scadenza o che avranno superato il numero delle parole consentite saranno rifiutati.

La bourse Hodder Fellowship est accordée à des écrivains et des artistes non-littéraires prometteurs qui souhaitent poursuivre des projets à l’Université de Princeton pendant l’année universitaire 2016/2017. Les candidats peuvent être écrivains, compositeurs, chorégraphes, plasticiens, performeurs. Ils seront sélectionnés plus sur leur potentiel créatif que leurs créations réalisées, bien qu’ils aient déjà des réalisations à leur actif, dans leurs disciplines respectives. La bourse est destinée à procurer «un loisir studieux» en vue d’une nouvelle réalisation. Le boursier passera une année à l’université, sans enseignement formel.
Le montant de la bourse est de 77,000 $ pour une durée de 10 mois.
Les candidats non citoyens américains peuvent postuler.
Pour candidate – Monter un dossier comprenant: un CV, un projet détaillé (500 à 750 mots), et des extraits de 10 minutes de pièces (liens YouTube, Vimeo, Flicker, etc). Les dossiers qui seront envoyés après la date ou dont les projets auront dépassés le nombre de mots seront rejetés.

USA HODDER FOLLOWSHIP – LEWIS CENTER FOR THE ARTS – PRINCETON UNIVERSITY.
The Hodder Fellowship will be given to writers and non-literary artists of exceptional promise to pursue independent projects at Princeton University during the 2016-2017 academic year. Potential Hodder Fellows are writers, composers, choreographers, visual artists, performance artists, or other kinds of artists or humanists who have “much more than ordinary intellectual and literary gifts”; they are selected more “for promise than for performance.” Given the strength of the applicant pool, most successful Fellows have published a first book or have similar achievements in their own fields; the Hodder is designed to provide Fellows with the “studious leisure” to undertake significant new work.
Applications will open for the next fellowship application cycle in July 2015.
