Joss Arnott Dance cerca danzatrici forti e atletiche per la compagnia per il periodo creativo e per il tour autunnale 5 | 0 con possibile estensione per un tour nella primavera 2016 (dipende dal finanziamento).
Il programma prevede tre brani coreografici, due dei quali già esistenti e un nuovo lavoro per tutta la compagnia.

Joss Arnott Dance collabora con il pluripremiato compositore e percussionista Dame Evelyn Glennie, che sarà co-autore di una colonna sonora originale e si esibirà al fianco del direttore musicale James Keane per questo trittico Wide Awakening.

5 | 0 indica il 5° anniversario della compagnia e il 50° compleanno di Dame Evelyn . 5 | 0 è prodotto da Phil Hargreaves e co-commissionato da Blackpool Grand, DanceEast, Swindon Dance, Pavilion Dance, South East Dance, CAST, è sviluppato con Dance City la Danza Città e sostenuto con finanziamenti pubblici da Arts Council England e PRS for Music Foundation.

Le candidate all’audizione devono avere ottima tecnica classica e contemporanea, forti abilità nel contact/partnering e nell’improvvisazione. Inoltre è necessaria capacità e competenza nell’insegnamento in quanto la compagnia ha una vasta attività nell’educazione e nella sensibilizzazione.

I candidati devono essere disponibili nei seguenti periodi:

• Creazione – dal 24 agosto 2015 al 15 ottobre 2015.
• Tour – dal 16 ottobre 2015 al 21 novembre 2015.

Durante questi periodi ci saranno attività di educazione e sensibilizzazione, giorni di viaggio e giorni liberi.

Questo lavoro è retribuito.

L’audizione si svolgerà domenica 14 giugno 2015 a Londra presso The Place, 16 Flaxman Terrace.

Critically acclaimed Joss Arnott Dance are seeking strong and athletic female dancers to join the company for their creation period and Autumn 2015 tour of 5|0 – with possible extension for Spring touring 2016 (funding dependent).

The programme will be a triple bill production consisting of two existing works and a new full company work.

Joss Arnott Dance has joined forces with GRAMMY award-winning composer and percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie, who will co-write an original score and perform live along side Musical Director James Keane, for the climax of the triple bill – Wide Awakening.  

5|0 is a birthday celebration marking the company’s 5^th and Dame Evelyn’s 50^th.

Produced by Phil Hargreaves and co-commissioned by Blackpool Grand, DanceEast, Swindon Dance, Pavilion Dance, South East Dance, CAST and developed with Dance City. Supported using public funding by Arts Council England and PRS for Music Foundation.

Auditionees should have excellent classical and contemporary technique, strong contact/partnering and improvisational skills. Additionally, proficient teaching skills are essential due to the company’s extensive education and outreach activity.
