Scade il 30 aprile il termine per la candidatura al BREAKING 8, festival di videodanza all’interno del FIND 33.
BREAKING 8 nasce dalla voglia di esplorare tutte le possibili forme della danza contemporanea e dal desiderio di andare oltre lo spazio chiuso del teatro.
Obiettivo del Festival è promuovere e fomentare la ricerca verso nuovi tipi di linguaggi espressivi. I video dovranno avere una durata massima di 10 minuti; potranno avere qualsiasi tema e non c’è chiusura in categorie preassegnate; denominatore comune sarà il movimento, sia esso di un corpo, di un oggetto o di un’idea.
Si potranno presentare lavori su coreografie appositamente create per la telecamera o speciali montaggi di spettacoli più tradizionali; si ha totale libertà nel raccontare la propria storia.
Per partecipare è necessario scaricare la scheda in pdf (application form al link http://www.festivalnuovadanza.it/festivalnuovadanza/breaking_8.html ) completarla in tutte le sue parti e inviarla all’indirizzo festivalnuovadanza@gmail.com entro il 30 aprile 2015.
Una selezione di 20 video saranno proiettati nell’ambito del Festival Internazionale Nuova Danza – FIND 33.

Breaking 8 is an International Video Dance Festival. It arises from the wish to explore all the possible forms of contemporary dance and go beyond the enclosed theatre space.
The Festival is aimed at promote and increase research towards new types of expressive languages. Videos must last no more than 10 minutes and can be based on whatever topics without the limitations of preset categories. Common denominator will be movement; that of a body, an object or an idea.
It will be possible to present works on choreographies specifically created for the video camera or special cutting of more traditional shows. Participants will be completely free to choose how to tell their story.
To participate to the contest it is necessary to download the pdf application form (http://www.festivalnuovadanza.it/festivalnuovadanza/breaking_8.html), fill it in all its parts and send it to the e-mail address: festivalnuovadanza@gmail.com by and no later than April 30 , 2015.
A final selection of 20 videos will be projected during the evenings of the Festival Internazionale Nuova Danza – FIND 33.
