SLAP (Salacious live Alternative Performance) annuncia un’interessante opportunità per gli individui e le compagnie che si sono laureati nel corso dell’ultimo anno o che sono al loro ultimo anno di studi.
Il Premio SLAPmoves è tutto dedicato all’arte emergente dalla prossima generazione di talenti. SLAP invita neolaureati e studenti al loro ultimo anno di studi (di danza / teatro / film cui temi che affrontano il tema del ‘movimento’) a presentare proposte di lavoro per la possibilità di essere nella rosa dei candidati per una piattaforma professionale che si terrà il 9 aprile 2015 presso il Guildhall, e che vede la presenza di specialisti del settore anche in giuria oltre che il pubblico.
All’artista o alla compagnia selezionata sarà poi offerto un posto nella piattaforma danza di primavera dello Yorkshire dedicata ai talenti emergenti della regione, che si terrà il 1 ° maggio 2015. L’artista riceverà anche 250 £ di borsa di studio, tre giorni di spazio studio, un incontro con un produttore, assistenza artistica e supporto tecnico. Il Premio è sostenuto dall’agenzia regionale Yorkshire Danza.
Il Premio non offre fondi per il viaggio o gli oneri per la prima esecuzione del 9 aprile 2015. I vincitori della serata riceveranno una borsa di studio 250 £.

SLAPmoves Prize Open Call

SLAP (Salacious Live Alternative Performance) would like to announce an exciting opportunity for individuals and companies who have graduated within the last year and final year students.
The SLAPmoves prize is all about emerging art from the next generation of pioneering talent. SLAP invites recent graduates and final year students (of dance/theatre/film whose themes of focus are based upon ‘movement’) to submit proposals of work for the chance to be shortlisted for a professional platform on the 9th of April at the Guildhall, attended and judged by industry specialists and the audience.
The successful artist or company will then be offered a place in Yorkshire dance’s spring platform dedicated to the region’s most exciting emerging talent, taking place on May 1st. The artist will also receive a £250 bursary, three days of studio space, a one to one meeting with a producer, artistic mentoring and technical support. Dates: 9th April – SLAPmoves Platform in York. w/c 20th April – Winners residency at Yorkshire Dance. 1st May – Winners Performance at Yorkshire Dance
There are no funds available towards travel / expenses for the first performance on the 9th of April. The winners of the evening will receive a £250 bursary for their time.
