El Sur Mundo ha lanciato una open call per una residenza coreografica che ruota attorno alla contemporaneità del tango come linguaggio coreutico e forma teatrale; la residenza è parte del progetto di ricerca della coreografa-drammaturga Gabriela Zuarez che dirigerà la residenza stessa.
La residenza è un invito a condividere le conoscenze e processi della coreografa con altri artisti che hanno affinità comuni. Inoltre è rivolta a quei performers-danzatori che sono interessati al tango per un più ampio scopo e visione.
La residenza si svilupperà quotidianamente per 14 giorni non-stop dal 28 agosto fino al 10 settembre 2017 presso il BAU Studio ad Amsterdam (Paesi Bassi).
Requisiti: età compresa tra 27-55 anni.
Per candidarsi i danzatori devono mandare entro il 21 luglio 2017 una lettera di motivazione, breve curriculum vitae e breve video link : artdirector@elsurmundoproject.nl. I posti sono limitati.

Open Call. Choreographic residency for dancers and performers with background in tango, tango dancers/ teachers
This choreographic residency ‘revolves around the contemporaneity of the tango as a dance language and as theatre form; The residence is part of the choreographer-dramaturge Gabriela Zuarez research project and she will lead the residence.
The residence entices an invitation to share choreographer’s knowledge and processes with other artists who has common affinities. Thererefore, the residency is intended to those dance performers who are interested to approach the subject Tango into a wider performative scope.
The residency will develop daily for 14 days non-stop from August 28 till September 10 2017 at BAU Studio’s Amsterdam The Netherlands.
Requirement: Age 27-55.
